We are currently seeking a Fire Sprinkler Designer / Project Manager to use his or her creativity and extensive knowledge to estimate, design, and complete the installation of fire sprinkler systems.

** Applicants must be able to pass a background check and drug test, which will be completed before an offer of employment is made **

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Produces detailed design documents from project specifications, architectural drawings, and code requirements
• Design automatic sprinkler systems including diesel and electric fire pumps, tanks, wet pipe systems, dry pipe systems, and pre-action systems and create shop drawings
• Perform hydraulic calculations
• Prepare submittal packages
• Prepare fabrication lists and requisition materials for the job
• Prepare and submit final job close-out documents
• Meet client and customer needs while managing the completion of the operation by communicating with field personnel and subcontractors
• Coordinate between trades
• Prepare estimates for bids

Required Knowledge, Skills and Licenses:

• 2+ Years Experience in Fire Sprinkler Design
• Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Working knowledge of NFPA codes and AHJ requirements
• Minimum NICET I
• AutoCAD Experience

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Licenses:

• Degree from technical school or college
• Project Management experience
• Experience in HydraCAD and HydraCALC or similar software
• Experience in Navisworks and Revit or similar software
